3D Visualisation
An image created from a 3D model representing both the product
and its surrounding environment. The illustration contains
elements and characteristics associated with the particular
real world environment and is placed in either a day or
night time situation.
Photomontage
Utilises an image created in the 3D model, and places the
structure within its real environment. By using an appropriate
photograph the model is created to match the atmospheric
characteristics of that image, and insertion at the correct
view point, forms a seamless composition.
Artistic Impression
An illustration created when a location is not ideal for
creating a picturesque scene. Produced in a similar format
to the photomontage, but rather than being set in a photographed
environment, the structure is placed within a generated
scene which forms a virtual background for the model.
Animation
The 3D model may also be used to produce either a walkthrough
or flyover by laying a route through the model. As
with still images all elements are included, and animation
can be added
bringing a true sense of realism to the project.
Post
Production
Each illustration goes through a post production process
whereby elements of the model can be enhanced to
improve the final appearance of the image. At this
stage in
the process it is also possible to edit the images
allowing
them to be
published with varying graphic and artistic techniques
layered into the image.
DVD & Image Publication
Animation and stills may be made available on CD-ROM
or DVD and produced as part of a video presentation.
The content
can be issued in various formats utilising software
such as Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe 3D Acrobat.
